Agent Charitable Fund Board Member

Angela was one of the founding members of the Agent Charitable Fund in 2018, and was excited to partner with other passionate agents around the state to fight food insecurity in Michigan.

Doe Derby

Angela is proud to be on the Doe Derby committee along with the Michigan Farm Bureau family of Companies, venison task force working to keep deer off the road and provide lean protein for families in need.

Elton R Smith Award

This award is presented each year to the Farm Bureau Insurance Agent or Managing Partner who has exhibited the most consistent commitment to the success of Farm Bureau Insurance, Michigan Farm Bureau, the community, and the insurance industry. 

America & Me Essay Contest

The Angela Shannon Agency is a proud sponsor of the American & Me Essay Contest for eighth-grade students. The writing competition was originally created to encourage young students to explore their career aspirations and consider how their future roles can impact their community.

2023 Agent Charitable Fund Year-End

In 2023 the ACF gave $175,000 in grants to schools, food banks and community organizations, provided 875,000 meals and supported 85 organizations/schools

Coaches vs Cancer

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan agents across the state partner with the American Cancer Society to sponsor and host events such as the Coaches vs Cancer high school basketball games. Angela partnered with Wayland Union High School to sponsor their Coaches vs Cancer game.

100 Women Who Care of Kalamazoo County

Angela is proud to be a part of the nonprofit 100 Women Who Care of Kalamazoo County. This organization donates funds each quarter to a group in their community that is in need.
